Well Repair Parts
Providing the replacement parts to fix non-functioning wells
Picture of repair

Over time a well can stop working. The fix, however, is usually simple and may require something as small as a new valve, seal, piston or casing. For a minimal cost, wells can be refurbished and reinstalled – once again, giving people access to clean, safe water.

The cost of repairing a well varies from well to well. To be effective, Water Together suggests a donation of $250.

Your donation will cover the cost of parts needed to restore one well (approximately 1,500 people). Any residual will be applied to a general Well Repair Fund that is used to refurbish other broken wells.

Why water

  • Water born illnesses are the 2nd leading cause of death.
  • Of the 42,000 people who die each week from unsafe water, 90% are children.
  • Every 15 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease.
  • At any given moment, half of the world’s hospital beds are occupied by people who are suffering from water-related illnesses.
  • More than 80 percent of the world’s diseases can be attributed to unsafe water sources, sanitation and hygiene.

How Water Together works

Water Together is a Vox United campaign created specifically to address the water crisis through Well Drilling, Well Restoration and Water Purification. Where water is contaminated, we introduce water filtration. Where water is scarce, we endeavor to drill fresh-water wells. Where wells are non-functioning, we work to repair and reinstall.

All water projects are executed in conjunction with exemplary organizations & accompanied by certified health & sanitation education. For more information, email us at water@voxunited.org or go to www.voxunited.org
